All of these scone recipes work with either the Original Scone Mix or the Gluten Free Original Scone Mix. Below you will see three recipes; vegetarian savory scones, savory scones, and a sweet scone.
Vegetarian Option: Broccoli & Cheese Scone
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix
- 1/3 Cup Cold Water
- 1/2 Cup Cooked Broccoli
- 1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
Directions
- Prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper or by greasing
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl combine; Scone Mix, water, broccoli, and cheese
- Drop 2 tablespoons of dough about 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown
Tip: You can use frozen cooked broccoli, defrosted to save time
Non-Vegetarian Option: Ham & Cheese Scone
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix
- 1/3 Cup Cold Water
- 1/2 Cup Diced Ham
- 1/2 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese

Sweet Option: Cinnamon Scones with Apple Cider Frosting
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix
- 2/3 Cup Apple Cider
- 1/3 Cup Granulated White Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
For Apple Cider Frosting
- 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 2-3 Tablespoon Apple Cider

- Prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper or by greasing
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- In a large mixing bowl combine; Scone Mix, apple cider, white sugar, and cinnamon
- Drop 2 tablespoons of dough about 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown
- Allow to cool before adding glaze
- To create the glaze combine powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of apple cider (add extra apple cider if you need the glaze to be more fluid), and you can either dip the scones in the glaze or drizzle over the top.
