PB&J Scone

There are a couple of different ways to achieve a PB&J Scone. Below we have shared a few different recipes which all help to achieve a delicious PB&J Scone. 

 

PB&J Scone using Original Scone Mix

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix 
  • 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Cool Water 
  • 2 Tablespoon of Powdered Peanut Butter or 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining your baking sheet with parchment paper and/or lightly greasing the baking sheet with non-stick spray 
  3. In a bowl combine; scone mix, water, and peanut butter
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (you can form them into triangles) about three inches apart 
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden on top. 
  6. Enjoy with a thick spread of jam/jelly

PB&J Scone using Raspberry Scone or Strawberry or Cherry Scone Mix

 Ingredients:

  • 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Raspberry or Strawberry or Cherry Scone Mix 
  • 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Cold Water 
  • 1/4 Cup Jam/Jelly of Either Raspberry or Strawberry or Cherry 
  • 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter 
  • 2-4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining your baking sheet with parchment paper and/or lightly greasing the baking sheet with non-stick spray 
  3. In a bowl combine; scone mix, water, and jam/jelly.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (you can form them into triangles) about three inches apart 
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden on top. 
  6. Now you can prepare the peanut caramel sauce. Place the peanut butter in a microwave safe dish, with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (you can add more depending on the viscosity of your peanut butter)
  7.  Microwave in 10 second intervals, and mix thoroughly. You will see the maple syrup will bubble up, you need to stop microwaving when you see this happen. 
  8. Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup, until fully incorporated. 
  9. Pour on the scones and enjoy!

PB&J Scone using Chocolate Chip Scone Mix

Ingredients: 

  • 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Chocolate Chip Scone 
  • 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoon Cold Water 
  • 1/4 Cup Jam/Jelly 
  • 2 Tablespoon Powdered Peanut Butter 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining your baking sheet with parchment paper and/or lightly greasing the baking sheet with non-stick spray 
  3. In a bowl combine; scone mix, water, jam/jelly and peanut butter
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (you can form them into triangles) about three inches apart 
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden on top. 
  6. Enjoy
