There are a couple of different ways to achieve a PB&J Scone. Below we have shared a few different recipes which all help to achieve a delicious PB&J Scone.
PB&J Scone using Original Scone Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix
- 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Cool Water
- 2 Tablespoon of Powdered Peanut Butter or 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Prepare your baking sheet by lining your baking sheet with parchment paper and/or lightly greasing the baking sheet with non-stick spray
- In a bowl combine; scone mix, water, and peanut butter
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (you can form them into triangles) about three inches apart
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden on top.
- Enjoy with a thick spread of jam/jelly
PB&J Scone using Raspberry Scone or Strawberry or Cherry Scone Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Raspberry or Strawberry or Cherry Scone Mix
- 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Cold Water
- 1/4 Cup Jam/Jelly of Either Raspberry or Strawberry or Cherry
- 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
- 2-4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Prepare your baking sheet by lining your baking sheet with parchment paper and/or lightly greasing the baking sheet with non-stick spray
- In a bowl combine; scone mix, water, and jam/jelly.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (you can form them into triangles) about three inches apart
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly golden on top.
- Now you can prepare the peanut caramel sauce. Place the peanut butter in a microwave safe dish, with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (you can add more depending on the viscosity of your peanut butter)
- Microwave in 10 second intervals, and mix thoroughly. You will see the maple syrup will bubble up, you need to stop microwaving when you see this happen.
- Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup, until fully incorporated.
- Pour on the scones and enjoy!
PB&J Scone using Chocolate Chip Scone Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 Package of Sticky Fingers Chocolate Chip Scone
- 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoon Cold Water
- 1/4 Cup Jam/Jelly
- 2 Tablespoon Powdered Peanut Butter
